You want to do and experience something exciting during Christmas in Newcastle, Australia? There are a few things that I enjoyed and thought it is worth sharing and hoping that you can get some inspiration. Thus, in the following, you will get an insight into four ideas that are great to do during that Christmas Season in Newcastle, no matter which age.
Christmas Lights at Hunter Valley
You are ready to experience something absolutely magical in Newcastle during the Christmas Season? Go and see the Christmas lights in the Hunter Valley. The adventure is something everyone will enjoy. I was a bit sceptical beforehand but once you get there you will see that it will bring joy to all generations. Check out the Hunter Valley Gardens Homepage for rates. There are quite a few packages that you can get as well as they differentiate between day and night rates.
Entrance wise, my friends have the voucher book, called entertainment book. Ther deals are absolutely mind-blowing and already worth if you go out once in a while. I was happy my friends were kind enough to share.
Christmas in Newcastle - decoration can be anywhere
There are certain things in life that just come around the corner and you would never expect that. This is the case for the Christmas bus in Newcastle as well as a general decoration for Christmas in Newcastle that might crack you up. So get off your phone while waiting for the bus or strolling from one to the other place - you might have a glance onto the bus while it drives past you.
The Christmas bus in Newcastle is full-on. Whenever I saw it and even better when I was riding it, I was absolutely thrilled about it. The bus gets decorated every year and drives usual routes. Even from distance, you will recognize it also due to the fact that it says Christmas bus instead of the places he is going. Once you are inside you will hardly see a spot that is not decorated and you will hear nice Christmas song. I really hope you will get to see it.
Take a picture with Santa - Shopping Malls around Newcastle
For whatever reason, I did not expect this Santa hype in Australia. Due to the fact that I was working in the mall, I could see what it was like a few days before Christmas. I think a picture with Santa, no matter which age, is a nice thing for kids and a lovely gift for the family. I cannot remember how expensive it was, but I remember it to be quite expensive. AND if you want to go and get pics I HIGHLY recommend on going early. The days before Christmas are insane. You might have to wait in line for ages and next to screaming kids and parents.
Get exercise during the Christmas Season in Newcastle - Santa Fun Run
The Santa Fun Run is an annual run that you can join in Newcastle. I think this is a fun way to celebrate the season and healthy habits. Additionally, you will also fun for a good cause. So check the next run of Santa Fun Run, join, feel awesome and do something good at the same time.
(Once I publish this, the 2019 run will be done but you can register for the following year :) ).
